Industrial Work Rehabilitation
Industrial Rehab is a collective term that refers to services our facility provides for rehabilitation of injured workers. These services offered at Dan Wyand P.T. and Associates include Work Conditioning and Office Site Analysis.
Work Conditioning is a treatment program in which the injured worker participates 2 to 4 hours a day 3 to 5 days a week. This program progresses the individual from the “patient role” and allows them to transition back to the “worker role”. The focus of work conditioning is to restore a worker’s functionality by simulating job tasks through strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness training with the ultimate goal of immediate return to work upon discharge.
